Service Guarantee & Cargo Integrity Commitment
Thank you for choosing RuDi-Global (RDG) as your project logistics partner. We are committed to operational excellence, engineering precision, and rigorous risk mitigation to safeguard your high-value, heavy-lift, and project cargo from origin to final foundation.
Scope of Guarantee
Our operational guarantee covers the execution of agreed transport engineering, rigging, securing, and handling procedures in accordance with international project cargo standards (including IMO, DNV, and local transport authority guidelines). We ensure that all multi-modal movements adhere strictly to verified Method Statements and Transport Execution Plans.
Transit Liability & Comprehensive Cargo Insurance
All cargo movements are executed under standard carriage conventions and international freight forwarding terms (such as FIATA / BIMCO / local transport associations). To provide complete peace of mind:
Standard Carrier Liability: Applicable limits apply based on the specific bill of lading, charter party agreement, or convention (e.g., Hague-Visby, CMR).
Marine & Transit Insurance: We arrange comprehensive, all-risk project cargo insurance (Institute Cargo Clauses A) covering physical loss or damage during transit, heavy-lift rigging, intermediate storage, and on-site positioning.
Non-Conformance & Incident Resolution
If a deviation, handling incident, or cargo damage occurs during transit:
Immediate Site Response: Our dedicated cargo superintendents conduct an on-site assessment and implement immediate corrective action to secure the load.
Claims Handling: We work directly with independent marine/cargo surveyors and underwriters to expedite root-cause analysis, documentation, and prompt financial settlement.
Exclusions & Limitations of Liability
Consistent with standard maritime and transport law, coverage does not apply to:
Pre-existing structural defects, inherent vice, or latent mechanical faults within the manufacturer’s machinery prior to handover.
Damages resulting from improper third-party packing/crating not performed or inspected by RDG.
Unforeseeable Acts of God, force majeure, severe unforecasted marine events, or civil unrest outside contractual risk allocations.
Unauthorized rigging, repositioning, or unlashing executed by non-RDG personnel on site.
Claims & Notification Process
In the event of an incident or cargo discrepancy:
Note any apparent packaging or structural damage on the Proof of Delivery (POD) / Consignment Note / Survey Report immediately upon discharge.
Formally notify RDG in writing within 48 to 72 hours of cargo handover (or within statutory convention limits).
Retain the damaged components, lashing gear, and photographic/sensor (shock recorder) records for joint survey inspection.
